STEP 1

Your Initial Enquiry

Our financial planning process begins by asking you important questions about your financial objectives. We encourage you to share details about your current situation, any day-to-day challenges you experience, or simply express where you would like to be financially. After receiving your enquiry and information, we progress to the next step in the planning process.

STEP 2

Follow Up Call

After your initial enquiry, one of our financial advisors will contact you for a brief introduction. If we can assist you, we’ll arrange a face-to-face meeting and ask for a brief snapshot of your current financial situation, including your income, superannuation, assets, and most importantly, your goals. Using this information, we’ll assess how to best achieve your objectives and create a plan with suitable tools and investment strategies for our first discovery meeting. Feel free to share a bit about your situation, challenges, or your financial aspirations. Once we receive your enquiry and information, we’ll proceed to the next step in the planning process.

STEP 3

Discovery Meeting

Our discovery meeting is where our planning process really gets started. Let’s face it, ‘money is a means to an end’, meaning money isn’t the end goal of life, but rather it is just a means of getting you to your other goals. Our advisers excel at actively listening and considering all crucial factors beyond just your finances. During this phase, we break down your situation and present strategies and options that will be part of your personalised financial plan that is designed to achieve your ‘end goals’. This phase is uniquely tailored to each individual, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all relevant factors. You’ll experience our elaborate and innovative approach to financial planning, gaining valuable knowledge to confidently move to the next stage.

STEP 4

Construct Plan

Having established from the discovery meeting what your goals and objectives are, this is where our experience and expertise really comes to the fore.

During this stage we undertake extensive research and investigation to construct and optimise a plan that is specifically tailored and designed to achieve your goals. Depending on the complexity and level of further consultation required to ensure your plan is optimised to achieve your goals, this process typically ranges from 1 to 4 weeks. Typically, the longer timeframes are reserved to construct the more complex plans such as Estate & Succession planning which often involves consultation and information retrieval from other professional bodies (i.e. Accountants, Solicitors / Lawyers, Government Agencies), but rest assured that whilst our financial planning construction is industry leading, that we will never substitute quality of advice for expediency.

STEP 5

Present Plan

Having constructed the plan and undertaken extensive due diligence we will present your individualised plan to you.

During the presentation we ensure that every component is explained in a simple and easy-to-understand manner, ensuring your complete understanding, and that that you are comfortable and engaged throughout.

Following the presentation, we eagerly welcome your feedback and will address any and all questions you may have, and if needed, we can quickly amend the plan to incorporate any changes or additional requirements you may require so as to ensure the plan is aligned and optimised to your goals and objectives.

We understand the sensitivity and importance of your personal finances (after all that’s our job), and as such will provide you with the necessary time and space to make your decision.

STEP 6

Proceed with Advice

If you are ready to proceed, then on receipt of your written authority we will commence implementation. Your adviser and the Antea support team will handle all aspects of the implementation, and will keep you informed and updated at each major step of the implementation process. If your input is required (e.g. applications and signatures) we will guide you through this to ensure it is a simple and seamless process.
